REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICIES
Any notice of cancellation, request to transfer or reschedule or request for refund must be made in writing via email. All Activities can be cancelled greater than 30 days before the activity with a 5% Administration fee. Any discounted / promo ticket is usually non transferable.
Items purchased at Essential Cycles in store or Online are subject to a 14 day return policy* (Excluding Bicycles)
We will only accept items that are returned in the original packaging in resealable condition, if the product has been used we will not accept returns.
For a return you will need the original receipt or have a store account showing the original transaction, failing this we will only be able to offer you store credit or exchange.
Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days once the item has been received in-store.
Shipping for online order returns is the cost of the customer and not Essential Cycles unless the return is due to the fault of Essential Cycles.
*Special Order sales are final with no option to return. If the item you have ordered is incorrect we will charge a 20% restocking fee for cancelling the order [You will be refunded 80% of the value]
Returns are not accepted on wheel sets or any custom built item (wheels or bikes), all sales are final. Returns are also not accepted on any sale item, nutritional / personal care products or on gift certificates.
Single Day Clinics & Tours
Clinic cancellations can be made up to 14 days before the event date when a refund (less 10% admin fee) will be made on request. Refunds will not be given after this date.
Rescheduling your booking may occur up to 14 days before the event.
Participants may reschedule or transfer their booking (less 10% administration fee) to another event as a booking credit for use within 6 months of the initial payment.
Participants may transfer their booking to another person with a $20 administration cost up to 48 hours prior to the event, with notice to, and agreement by Ozmosis Training to ensure that the course is suitable for the new participant.
Multi-day Clinics, Events & Tours
Any multi-day event requires 21 days notice of cancellation, whereby a refund (less 10% administration fee) will be made on request. Refunds will not be given after this date but participants may transfer their booking (less 20% administration fee) to another event as a booking credit for use within 6 months of the initial payment.
Participants may request to transfer their booking to another person with a 20% administration cost up to 5 days prior to the event, with notice to, and agreement by Essential Cycles / Ozmosis Training to ensure that the course is suitable for the new participant.
Cancellations, Transfers or Booking Credits are not available from 5 days prior to the event. No Exceptions.
Mountain Bike Rentals
Cancellations and re-schedules greater than 24 hours will be subject to a $10 administration fee. Refunds will not be given with less than 24 hours notice.
Rental bikes must be returned to the shop 1 hour before closing. All late returns will be charged an extra days rental fee at the next price bracket.
