Essential Cycles in partnership with Colour the Trails and Enhanced Performance are excited to announce the continuation of Untamed Development Team. After a successful first season where we've all learnt a lot along the way we have now refined and perfected the program for it's second year.
Regardless if this is your first season of riding ever or if you are a seasoned pro, you'll find a great community here. This is a commitment by both us and you to get the most out of your season, this really is the full meal deal. We'll make you stronger over the winter and then we'll make you faster in the spring, then over the summer we'll continue to support and encourage you to be awesome!

Learn new skills in a friendly group atmosphere, make new riding buddies and learn from the best coaches available.
This all equates to over 100 hours of hands-on training with our team of professional coaches!

What's Includes:
- Off-Season strength training program, in the gym, with your team mates 2-3 times a week. You will work with Lynn & Cian at Enhanced Performance to get the most out of this dry land training to ensure you come into the season strong and healthily.
- Weekly bike specific training starting in March with our team of professional coaches, We will work on everything you need to get the most out of your season.
- 6 full day training and team building sessions starting in January.
- Trail side bike maintenance, because sometimes things go wrong and you'll be on your own and need to know what to have with you and how to use it. Our Pro Mechanic Geoff will be working with everyone to teach you the basics to keep you rolling on the trail.
- Custom race team jersey and some sweet swag and deals from our sponsors.

Who Can Apply?:
- Age 15 - Not Dead Yet
- Must be a Vancouver area resident as this is an in-person program
- Open to all genders
- All skill levels on a mountain bike
- We will be focused on Enduro and Downhill racing. You can 100% still apply if you are race curious, or even if you just want a supportive and fun atmosphere to progress in.
