Because we had such a great time last year!
Join our team of exceptional coaches for a weekend of skill building that will kick start your season and get you stoked on your bike.
Our coaches will help you build your skills giving you more confidence, freedom and fun on your bikes.
This weekend involves riding your bike on singletrack trails to work on skills in the field, conquering Technical Trail features, finding flow on the trail and generally the love of all things with two wheels! Join us for a weekend of biking in the [trail network] of Crowsnest Pass, where the trails are buff, the views spectacular and epic women coaching!
On top of all this we will have a fun filled social Saturday evening where we can celebrate day one's sucesses and give away some fun swag and prizes.
Groups to fit your level!
Beginner, Intermediate, Strong Intermediate/Advanced
Dates: 2nd & 3rd May 2017
Cost: $294 plus tax
Meeting:
6pm June 1 at Bert and Mac's Source for Sports 1108 1 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB
-Meet and greet with special pricing on biking products!
9am June 2 at Albert Stella Memorial Arena 12602 17 Ave Blairmore, AB
-Ride Pass Powder Keg rain or shine!
-Rental bikes available from Giant & Liv!
-Apres-ride tailgate party and BBQ. (Food/drinks provided)
-Did we mention PRIZES?! Tons of giveaways from Liv, Bert and Macs, Alpenland, Blakiston Sports, Ryders Eyewear, MTB for Her, Bell, and MUCH MUCH MORE!
10am June 3 at Parking lot on Mt. Fernie Park Road, Fernie, BC

SKILL LEVELS
Please read the following skill level description to help you register for the skill development group that best meets your riding interest, skills, areas of you want to development.
Beginner
If you are new(er) to mountain biking wanting to move from road or red shale path riding to singletrack riding and want to build skill and confidence. The group will focus the mountain biking foundational skills of braking, body position, line choice, and cornering. The group will spend the morning working on skill development and then hit the trails for the afternoon to put all the skills into practice.
Trails this group will be riding are: Double Dirt-Spresso, Little Shred Riding Hood, Lazy Lizard, Stove Trail
Intermediate
If you are rider with some foundational mountain skills in braking, body position, line choice but want to continue to build your skills and confidence on the trails. The day will go beyond the basics and work on flow, cornering, riding technical rocky terrain and into maneuvers to navigate over small logs, skinnies, small drops and small jumps.
Trails this group will be riding are: Chainsaw massacre, Buck 50, Red Sonja, Dem Bones
Strong Intermediate
If you are a rider who is confident in your foundational mountain biking skills, and are ready and wanting to progress into riding in more technical terrain. The group will work on steep and rocky terrain with TTF (Technical Trail Features) there will be opportunity to work on developing jumping, drops (there will be ride around options for all features) lots of opportunity for practicing steep rolls.
This group will utilize trails such as: Buck 50, Berma Grin Red Sonja, Roots O’Hazard
Advanced
If you a rider seeking to advance your skills in riding natural steep and rocky terrain, and to develop your jumping, dropping and steep rolls this is the session for you. You are required to have a strong mountain bike skills foundation, you are comfortable and confidence in your braking, body position and line choices while riding and you wanting to learn how to tackle more advanced TTF (Technical Trail Features).
This group will be working on TTFs on trails such as: Berma Grin, Spare Change, Brokeback Ridge, Project 9
All trails for all groups are dependent on weather and trail conditions. Planned trails are subject to change at any time.
