The Course
Our FUNdamentals course is designed to help you develop your skills in a comfortable training environment and give you an understanding of the fundamentals of mountain bike riding. You will learn the techniques and skills to ride over various terrain and build confidence. This course covers understanding how balance and traction work in relation to body position and stability. Additionally, you’ll learn to ride more relaxed and lose the “white-knuckled” grip on the handlebars.

- Obstacles & roll downs
- Front & rear wheel lifts
- Climbs - traction, line choice, gearing & pedaling
- Descending - body position, line choice, speed & braking
How long?
The clinic is run over three evenings in two hour sessions. This enables you to go and practice what we have taught you.
LOCATION
Clinics are held on the lower trails on SFU in Burnaby and Richard Juryn Trail in North Vancouver. We also do Whistler clinics.

Everything Else
Participants must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this clinic.
Minimum number of participants is 3 per clinic, if you are booked into a clinic and the minimum number is not met, you will be able to reschedule to a later date (valid for 12 months from purchase date)
